Roberta Fahn Schoffman,
President, is an expert in U.S.-Israel relations and Diaspora
Jewry. She founded MindSet in 1994. Taking a leave from the
private sector, Fahn Schoffman served as Prime Minister Ehud
Barak's Adviser on World Jewish Affairs from 1999 to 2001. Previously,
Fahn Schoffman represented both the Anti-Defamation League and
AIPAC in their Jerusalem offices, contributing in-depth, up-to-the-minute
policy analyses and accompanying more than 100 Members of Congress
and elected officials during their visits to Israel. In 1988,
she served as the Jewish Affairs and Middle East Adviser to
California Lt. Governor Leo McCarthy for his Senate campaign.
She holds a B.A. from the University of California and an M.A.
from the Hebrew University's Institute of Contemporary Jewry.

Simcha Tsadok-Peled, Managing Director, served previously
as Director of International Marketing for KATA, an Israeli
company offering audio-video products. She also served as the
Managing Director of the prestigious magazine Eretz Acheret.
Before joining MindSet, she was part of the United Jewish Community
production team for the 2003 General Assembly, where she organized
and implemented the "track day," taking the 6,000 participants
to visit a host of non-profit organizations throughout the country.
She holds a B.A. in Business from Touro College.
Elise Shazar, Director of Communication and Public Relations,
was born in Canada and grew up in Israel. She was a Lt. Colonel
in the IDF, and garnered extensive experience in public relations:
During her 22 years of military service, she served as Spokesperson
for the Civil Administration in the West Bank and later as Senior
Liaison Officer to International Organizations. Most recently,
she served as Director of Public Relations for a prominent Chicago
and Jerusalem-based non-profit organization. She holds a B.A.
from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Stuart Schoffman, Senior Consultant, is a journalist,
educator and screenwriter. A Senior Research Fellow in Advanced
Judaic Studies at the Shalom Hartman Institute, and a longtime
columnist at the Jerusalem Report, he is also a translator into
English of books by Israeli authors David Grossman and A.B.
Yehoshua. Before moving to Jerusalem in 1988, he worked for
Fortune and Time magazines in New York, wrote scripts for many
Hollywood studios and producers, and taught screenwriting at
the University of Southern California Film School. He earned
his B.A. from Harvard University, and an M. Phil. in History
from Yale University.

Tamar Israeli-Altaraz, MindSet office manager and coordinator
of special projects, has extensive experience in the fields
of human resources and office administration. She served for
six years as Director of HR at Israel's TV Channel Two. In addition,
she worked in marketing and administration in high-tech companies
such as Yissum Technology Transfer Co. of the Hebrew University;
Gamida Cell, Cell Therapy Technologies and Emultek. She holds
a B.A. in International Relations and a diploma in Human Resources
Management, both from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. |
